Voice Assistant Engagement Platform

Problem: Alexa Preview Central (APC), a voice assistant engagement platform is falling short in empowering beta program managers—its misalignment with user mental models, disjointed setup flow, and absence of a clear dashboard and reporting tools are creating friction, eroding trust, and limiting the ability to monitor program health. These gaps reduce engagement and undermine the success of product launches dependent on high-quality beta feedback.

Solution: To simplify program setup, provide real-time insights into program health, drive adoption, streamline workflows, and deliver actionable data that fuels innovation.

Deliverable: Redesigned the platform experience to enable ML-driven personalization at scale and empower program managers to rapidly test and launch secure, voice-enabled solutions—accelerating their conversational product pipelines. Through iterative user research and deep customer insights, I shape strategic product decisions and roadmap priorities to ensure experiences are intuitive, scalable, and human-centered.

Impact: The streamlined beta testing experience demonstrated operational efficiency which influenced other Amazon devices teams to merge their separate beta platforms with APC, unifying beta testing infrastructure across devices. This consolidation reduced duplicate development costs and engineering effort while creating a single, cohesive testing ecosystem.
